My daughter is coming for a visit in a couple weeks, and she has requested some Thank you cards. She started a new job recently as the head of a company in her area and had lots of help getting started. It makes a mom feel good when one of her kids loves her home made items enough to request, so I was happy to comply.
For ths one I used a sketch challenge from Just Add Ink, click this line and you can see what everyone else made.
It was a fun, fairly simple card using the Tropical Chic stamp and Tropical Thinlit dies. I know you've probably be seeing a lot of those lately. They are in our (Stampin Up) new annual catalog and have captured the attention and love of most of us. There is a 6x6 DSP pad that also matches.
It's a set that should you choose to purchase, you will have no shortage of inspiration for. The design on my card is a vellum that is retired, it was called Botanical Gardens and blends nicely with this set as well.
I used Mango Melody, Mint Macaron and Very Vanilla for this. I usually try to hide glue or glue dots under design elements, but that part can be a little tricky.
Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful week.

Very nice, Lynn!
I love how you matched the subtle tropical leaf pattern in the background with the bold die cut leaves on top Lynn. Your mango flower really provides a lovely pop of colour! Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week.
Such a beautiful thank you card, Lynn! I love the monochromatic Mints together with the little vibrant pops of Mango - so striking! Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week.
Beautiful card, Lynn. I absolutely adore the vellum you have used, it ties in so wonderfully with the Tropical Chic bundle. Thanks for sharing your project with us at Just Add Ink this week.
Ohhh now this looks great in these colours - I love the splash of Orange, such a cool colour combo. Chantell Just Add Ink
