Todays card is dedicated to all those who have lost their lives fighting for their country. I do what I can for those still in the service of this country, but it just never seems like enough. So many programs are on going though if you would like to help.
Operation Write Home is one near and dear to my heart. Very simply it is hand made cards sent to our troops to be sent home to their loved ones. Seems like a small thing, but it's important to them.
Another one I enjoy doing is Green Beans Coffee, for just a couple bucks you have send a special cup of coffee to a service member over seas. Google either of those for details.
I played with my clay today, I haven't done that for a very long time. I made buttons to put on a couple cards. This one is Pacific Point and Real red. I used my brayer and ink pad to put ink on one side of the embossing folder then ran it though normally. You get a different effect depending on which side of the folder you use. It's simple and the folder and brayer wash off easily with water.
The sentiment is a photopolymer Thank You set called Another Thank You Stamp Set. And the star is one of 3 cute little images in the new set called Something To say. That one will be available June 2nd. There is also a little punch pack for those images in the new catalog. The red ribbon I'm afraid is retired.
Thanks for stopping by today, I'd love to hear what you think. Did you loose someone special that was off fighting for the country? My prayers go out to all of you.

PPA Sketch challenge 205
Welcome! We have a new sketch challenge today from Pals Paper Arts.
I just could not help myself and had to play with some new goodies from my preorder.
I am in serious love with this new color, I've used two of them, Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss, and the Blackberry is such a gorgeous purple!
The pattern pieces are from the new small DSP paper pack Moonlight. I also did my first color in using the new Blendabilities markers. My blending needs a bit of work, but I'm happy at least with the white spaces.
Giggle Greetings has been in the catalog all this year, it's the very first stamp set I bought, I love it.
Glad you could stop by, have you got your new catalog yet??????

Mojo Monday 346
I do love a nice clean card, so this sketch from Mojo Monday will be a favorite. The only tiny sneak peek here today is the tiny flower on the top layer. See how well it goes with the Flower Shop flower and the Petite Petals flower? How fun is that. And, there are two more little punch out stamps in this set which is actually a sentiment set, new as of June 2, 2014. I got it on my pre order and I already see how often this one will be used, it's got an outside and inside matching message for each sentiment.
The name of it is Something To Say.
Colors today are Crisp Cantalope, Whisper White and Island Indigo with white candy dots. The pattern paper is from the Incolor set Paper Stack, 12x12.
I hope this gives you some ideas for your cards. Love to hear what you think.

Mojo Monday 345
And here I am, back doing my monday morning MOJO card on monday morning. My room isn't completely done, still need to finish up putting up rails for my punches and I need to do a lot of organizing, but it's workable. So, I'm a happy camper, hubby has worked really hard to get this done for me.
I used Delicate Doilies which is retiring. I'm afraid I don't know availability of it at this time. The side edge is made up of So Saffron embossed using one of the Delicate designs emb folder and the very edge is Washi tape that comes in the Project Life Everyday Adventure Accessory pack.
The sentiment is in a new stamp set Something to Say, it'll be available as of June 2nd in the new catalog. The second color is a new Incolor, Lost Lagoon and I have to say, it is my favorite! I do love blue and this one is really pretty.
Hope you enjoy, thanks for stopping by.

Stampin Up Sneak Peek sat
So I made a little sneak peek card for you today. This new catalog is just chock full of the most awesome stuff. The new incolors are fantastic. I have loved this past years incolors all year. They were the best set to come along ever, bar none as far as I was concerned.
However, we do have some fabulous colors this year also, the two here are Hello Honey and Lost Lagoon. I just love the name Lost Lagoon! LOL.
I have never loved yellows and greens much, but my favorite from what we have now is So Saffron, and this Hello Honey is the same color, just darker, so they will go beautifully together. After giving it some thought I realized all 5 incolors play well with each other.
The bottom is from the Moonlight DSP Stack. It's the smaller stack, 4 1/2 x 6 1/2. I love these little ones as they are sized down for cards, so easy to use. Love, love, love those squiggle lines! The ribbon is one of the new incolor ribbons in Lost Lagoon, and the stamp set is a sentiment set with 3 little graphics and outside and inside words for each sentiment. It's called Something to Say.
Like the squiggle lines too? Just wait until you see the stamp set that has this stamp. You can make it any color you like. Or maybe sponge color and make it several colors. Oh my, I'm on overload, so many neat things, such a long, long list.
So, have a great weekend!

PPA 203
Aren't you proud of me, here it is Thur and I have my Thur card up. My new desk is in, the room isn't quite done and I really need to adjust, I'm finding it hard to stamp sitting. Mainly because I have to keep hopping up to get something. It just can't all be right there, and I'm short so even if it is I end up getting up to reach.
Anyway, this weeks challenge is a color challenge. I have a hard time with 2 dark or bright colors, so this one was a bit hard for me.
See what I mean, and one color is Cajun Craze and I just am not a orangy color person. I prefer blues, pinks, purples ect.
But I think it came out ok, what do you think? Cajun Craze is the one color that I do not have at all. Not CS, no pad, but I do have my Regals DSP paper stack, so that's what I used. What? You see some ink sprinkles? Ok, so I faked them, they are Tangerine Tango, but hard to tell.
I also used my retiring Big L Fun flower die. I am so going to miss this die, I just love it and the different shapes of flowers on it.
I'm hoping to get a little sneak peek card done next to post for tomorrow, so stop on by and see if I managed that. I only ordered two stamp sets on my preorder, one is sentiments, that one I have. The other is the images, and that one is back ordered. Can you believe that? LOL.

Stampin Up, Secret Garden
Wouldn't you know it, I finally buy Secret Garden and it retires. I'd have bet against it. That's ok, I'm not free to say much yet, but just wait till you see the new catalog!
So, also retiring is the En Francias background stamp. This stamp has been in the SU catalog as long as I can remember. It used to be called French Script, and I have loved it the whole time. My poor stamp is very, very well used, but still working great.
I created a mask from an oval framelit and stamped in the middle. Then cut my flowers, leaf stem and stamped the other stems over top. Colored using my Blender pen, glued down using dimentionals, added gumball green ribbon (retiring) and sentiment.
I've spent much of this past week cleaning out my craft room. Much of that stuff is at the flea market this weekend and a good bit has already sold. I'm still not done however, have 2 more cabinet bottom areas to go through, and I need to do that tomorrow so the guys can get in and get my desk set up and move all the furniture around for me so I can sit and stamp.
I'm getting excited now. Mostly I'm excited to be getting the new catalog, got my first order coming on monday. I'm excited to be able to sit and stamp, so I'll be able to get more done. I'm excited to have so much space cleared out!
So, what are you all excited about this week? My class will be excited this month, they will get to work with brand new product!
Hope you have a great sunday, and thanks so much for stopping by.
