Mojo Monda 252

I did a 5" card this week, hope it helps give you ideas for your own. Here is the Mojo Monday sketch for this week.
And here is my take on it:
I used Marina Mist, a personal favorite of mine, Soft Suede, and Crumb Cake. The DSP paper pack in Subtles, the dots embossing folder and the stamp set Pretty Postage for the text, Crumb Cake ribbon.
Any questions can be put in the comments, I get them all. Thanks for visiting.

New Birthday Card

Feeling really old here. My oldest daughter is having a birthday on sat, and she will be 49! I just can't be that old to have a daughter that old.  I have to say tho, that she looks fantastic!  I made her a really pretty necklace and earring set.
The earrings didn't get their photo taken but they are very simple. Just smaller drops like the necklace one.
Her birth stone is ruby and I couldn't afford those, but I used ruby crystals instead and I think it turned out just beautiful.
On to the card, her favorite color is pink, always has been.
I used Old Olive, Crumb cake and Regal Rose, satin ribbon and Field Flowers stamp set. The text background is the French script background stamp.
It was a quick and simple card, hope it gives you some ideas.
I have something special to upload for you to see, will try to do that tomorrow, so stop by again.

If it's Monday, it must be Mojo monday

I'm having the best time with this weekly challenge.  Here is this weeks sketch:
Love this sketch, my kind of card.  I used Soft Suede and So Saffron for this one.  My card is a standard A2 card, 1/2 of a letter size piece of cardstock.  Whisper white, then Soft Suede, printed papers are from Designer Series paper packs Neutrals and Subtles collections. I love these paper pads, beautiful designs for cards and 40 excellent quality sheets in each one.
Then I used my Big Shot and a die from the Framelits, Floral Frames collection, then stamped the Create from the Layered Labels stamp set and cut it with the Layered Labels die cut collection.
I used the Elegant Butterfly punch for my butterfly and used the smallest rhinestones from the package.
And here it is.
I hope you enjoy. Any questions, I'm happy to answer or just talk. kraftycat at gmail dot com

Pity party card

So, the Stampin Up convention is in full swing today in Salt Lake City. Those of us that were left behind, (sniff, sniff) decided to throw ourselves a pity party SU style of course.
Sadly, I was just  a few miles from SLC a couple weeks ago, and I have to say from all the photos and posts from attendees, SU throws quite the party.
So here is my card for the party, green is for envy of course. LOL.
I used Gumball green ink, Wild Wasabi print paper from the DSP paper pad Subtles, Whisper White and Always Avacado paper, Language of Friendship for the quote, Postage Due stamp set, and white seam binding.

Mojo Monday 250 and Stampin Up

Another week, another Mojo Monday card. This week was a great sketch, really stretched my skill level.  But I love it. Here is the sketch
Now, here is my take on it.
My card is 5 1/4" x 5 1/4",  I used whisper white for the base, then the dots embossing folder with Bashful Blue sponged on the dots after embossing. Paper is Bashful Blue, and Marina Mist, the heart is from the Hearts Collection Framelits, cut from Raspberry Ripple. Butterfly was stamped using the Papillon Potpourri, and cut out using the Elegant Butterfly punch in Raspberry Ripple. The yellow strip was taken from the DSP pad in Subtles colors.
And the strip with text is just a retangle with the corners rounded, the Thank You is from Perfectly Penned set, all of course from Stampin UP!
I really had a great time with this card, it was a challenge for me, both colors and sketch, I hope you like it.

Layered Labels card

I love how this card turned out. I used Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip cardstock,  Stampin Up Dots embossing folder,  Subtles DSP paper stack, scallop edge punch and the layered lables stamp and Big Shot Die set.
I embossed the front but left a space on the folded side, cut the Chocolate chip 2", then punched the edge, then measured the DSP paper so it was the size I wanted. I wrapped the ribbon over the edges of the chocolate/pink CS a bit on the ends before gluing down.
I then stamped and die cut the image, die cut again on plain white, stamped lightly on the back side and cut around the center and stamped with Wacky Wishes Thank You. Wacky Wishes is a current Hostess set.
I used glue dots in the center piece.
I hope you like it as much as I do.

Mojo Monday card # 248

My second time with an entry in the Mojo Monday challenge. I love that it pushes me to get some cards done, and it's just plain fun.
I started with Winter White cardstock, added a layer of patterned paper from the Designer Pattern paper stack in the subtles collection.  Then I used Midnight Muse and ran it through the Big Shot to emboss, used a border punch on the bottom and glitter glue on the bottom.
Then a piece of Raspberry Ripple ( great, now I want Ice Cream!), more Midnight Muse and finish with Winter White.  For the buttons I used the buttons sizzlet again through the Big Shot. Ribbon is seam binding.
Go HERE  If you would like to place a Stampin Up order any time, or feel free to call me.
If you live in the Kingman AZ, or Bullhead City or Golden Valley area, call or write me about an upcoming open house.  You'll be able to see the new catalog and and check products and cards out for yourself, we will also be doing a make it and take it.
Thanks for checking this out.

July is here and so is your patriotic wallpaper.

I had such fun using Amanda's Celebrate America kit for this months wallpaper, I hope you like it as much as I do.
Of course it also is the kit she is using for the calendar challenge at Digitals .  Be sure to join in the fun, you can do any size you like. I do a 4x6 using photos of my family and every Christmas my family gets a set in their gift bag. They really do love them, more for the photos they put on their desks, then the calendar I think, but it serves the purpose.
The full sized kit is on sale for a great price this month while it's used for the challenge, and the mini kit is free when you play.
Here is what the kit looks like:
And here is the wallpaper:
Find it HERE .   I hope you all have a wonderful 4th!

See you next time.
