I happened to check out the Merry Monday challenge for this week. They are just coming back from summer break and I could not help myself. I mean, White, Black and Gold? You just can't do anything wrong with those colors!
I don't think I've played here before, and honestly I go gung ho as soon as the Holiday catalog hits, but after Christmas I don't want to even think about another Christmas card until the next Holiday catalog!
Anyway, this set, Christmas Pine bundle is so much fun to play with!!! It is very popular already just among the demo's. Although it's billed as a Christmas set, it could be used all year long, especially in the fall with all the branches and pine cones and such.
I made my black card base 4 1/4" x 5 1/2 ". Cut your CS the long way, measuring 4 1/4", then turn and score at 5 1/2". I cute my striped DSP from the Neutrals DSP stack at 4x5 1/2" and the while piece at 3 3/4 x 5 1/2".
Besides pieces from the Christmas Pines bundle, I only used the Gold satin ribbon and the Neutral stack. So, if you are looking for a card for Christmas that doesn't use too much this is it.
BTW, the neutrals stack used to have Very Vanilla and Whisper white in it, but those were taken out, and now there are gold and silver instead.
