Stampin Up, Paper Players #254 Bowl of cherries

Todays challenge at the Paper Players is Frames, check it out HERE

I had to stop and think for a min.  I use frames, namely usually the framelits very often, but I don't start out to do so.  I had to cut some really tiny pieces of Stampin Dimentionals to have it fit under the frame part.

I just love this set, mostly because it's get a cat in it. You did notice the name of my blog, right? If not, scroll up!  Second, I like it because it's humorous.  Sometimes it's just fun to poke fun.

I wasn't sure about using the English Garden DSP, but every time I tried something else, this just looked better.   All in all  a pretty simple card.  I just got the thick Bakers Twine in Cherry Cobbler from the last weekly deal. Christmas is coming and I use a LOT  of Cherry Cobbler.

So, colors today are, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Momento Black, and Smoky Slate.  I hope you enjoy it and it sparks an idea for you.

Stampin Up and Mojo Monday 362

Yup, it's tuesday and I'm just posting.  Life just keeps getting in the way.

This was an interesting sketch, it took a little thought, but I have a special friend who is having a birthday so that had to be my card theme.
Colors today are:  Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding, and Whisper White.

The little wavy cut you see on both sides of the card are made using the Rotary add on for the Stampin Trimmer and the optional tiny wave blade. There are also other blades, a small scallop, and a perforating blade as well as the straight cut blade. And the blades are inclosed in little cartridges so easy to change out and very safe to use.

Here is todays sketch:
I hope you have enjoyed, and thanks for stopping by.   As usual, just click on any of the graphics of product below and you will be taken to my store where you can check them out further and/or purchase.
