It almost feels like fall, Paper Players #508

Paper players has a wonderful color challenge for this week, great fall colors, and I had fun with it.
Check it all here here.

I started out using Very Vanilla for my base card, then a piece of Pretty Peacock that I used one of our new narrow embossing folders on. The set is called Meadow Moments.  The new folders fit in the brand new (so new that as of right now, it's not available just yet.) small sized cut and emboss machine. It is made just like the full sized one and I think it has a big wider mouth then any of the other small ones out there.
I just love how the leaves come down the side, then have a few dots and a leaf here and there further in.
I used Positive Thoughts stamps, Natures thoughts dies and Season of Layers dies (retired) for all my leaves and feather and butterfly. I used silver foil for one of my leaves as well as the shape cut with VV on the top with the sentiment.  A few rhinestones and I was done.

I hope you enjoy, I sure had a good time making it.

More Daisies, GDP#092

I've been trying to think up new ways to use my daisy set. This card was more fun than anything I've done in awhile, daisies are just too much fun to play with.   I decided to try coloring my daisy with different colors, leaving part of it white.  I think it turned out gorgeous!  And I didn't even use the glitter gems on this one, just did the center in white with the second part of the center in Crumb Cake.

I used the new Postscrip background stamp on this, stamped in Smoky Slate, stamped off first, then onto my card to keep it light and very much in the background.   Hmmmm, wonder if this would all work really pretty on Smoky Slate CS....

My green is Lemon Lime Twist, our new incolor and I used one of the Bitty bows that already have the tiny sticky dot on the back, how fun is that!?  I also used Marina Mist for my blue.
The blue is the part of the inspiration card that I picked up on.
Here is the challenge card, you can click this also, and check out the cards from the team.

Also, after stamping the daisy very lightly, I put alcohol in one of my aqua bush's and used that with my ink pad for the color. That way the stamped image won't run.  A blender pen works very all also, it has a chemical in it and not water, but I like the look better with the brush.

New product peek, Just Add Ink challenge #359

Todays card is a peek at one of the most popular sets in the new 2017/2018 annual catalog as far as I can tell.  It's a beautiful set of stamps and punch and the DSP that goes with, well, it's just stunning. I have never order a second set of the same DSP, but I am going to with this one.
It's called the Daisy Delight bundle, and the DSP is Delightful Daisy.

In mine I have stamped and embossed white on white, then used my Aqua pen and stamp pad to color in the leaves. I liked the more varied, natural look to my flower.  Below you see the colored CS stamped and embossed and can see the difference.
The faceted gem is the perfect center, it comes in this gold color and clear.

Colors are: Wisteria Wonder and Whisper white.  Super simple card but a stunner.   I used the For you sentiment as this way I can put anything pretty much inside.

This weeks Just Add Ink is a Inspiration challenge. Here is the challenge inspiration and link to see the rest of the projects.

Thanks for stopping by!
