This is both a sad and a happy time for SU demos. We say goodbye to some very much loved product, but get to say hello to lots of exciting new product too. We will be pre ordering starting in May and you will be seeing some brand new product. There are some really awesome things coming our way.
In May we can only show you things we make using new product and we can show you the pretty new catalog cover as well. Ordering for everyone starts June 3rd! Start saving, you are going to fall in love.
This stamp is one that is retiring and I am going to miss using it, it's gorgeous. It's one I shall be keeping, but for purposes of my blog and challenges I don't use anything for the most part, except current product. I may use the odd piece of ribbon or something, I just don't always have just the right ribbon for any given card. After all, we all have budgets. Stamps and dies are first on my to buy list.
I used Watercolor paper for my image, stamped with Versamark and watercolored the color in using my ink pads and a brush.
Wisteria Wonder peeks through the back of the watercolor paper to bring the image together with the background. The patterned paper is from the Subtles DSP Stack, they are wonderful to have on hand, such great patterns in every color.
So, colors are: Whisper White, Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder and Daffodil Delight.
Thanks for looking.

Stampin Up, and GDP 009
Today is a color challenge, using some of the new incolors for this year. Here are the colors for this week:
I used my Aqua Pens to watercolor in the image. You can get a different look with them then you can with markers, so that and my Blender pens are my go to for coloring in.
The little bit of DSP showing at the bottom is from a 6x6" Paper Stack called Cherry on Top.
A pretty quick and simple card. Come on over to Global Design Project and play with these awesome demo's.

Stampin Up and my Least used color
My upline challenged us to post something made using our least used color. Orange is not only my least used, but my least favorite color. I am very much a pastel kinda gal, but I do try to use them all. This one is one of the new incolors. Tangerine Tango. For not liking orange, I am really liking how this turned out. That is the thing about challenging yourself, you just never know what might come of it.
The green is Old Olive, it's been around SU as long as I can remember. The paper is a from the Adventure Bound DSP paper stack in the Occasions catalog. It's still good until the 2nd of June. Some really nice patterns and some very masculine papers. Something we all need from time to time.
Thank for looking!

Stampin Up, Mojo Monday 368
Good morning stampers! For once I am here in the morning with todays Mojo Monday card, what a neat sketch, so easy to use and so adaptable.
I have mostly been doing fall and Christmas cards, we do have to start early if we are going to get them all done, and that doesn't even mention how long it can take to come up with just the right idea.
But I departed from that today. I love the Just Because sentiment, especially when you make cards up ahead of time, it's is useful for so many occasions, or no occasion at all.
Today I used Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight, and Whisper white along with my blendies.
The And Many More sentiment pack is really a great one to have on hand, so many occasions, it's hard to find something it doesn't have.
On a personal note, my surgery is coming up pretty quickly. I can't say I'm not a bit frightened, but I am looking forward to having a life again after a period of work to recoup. I hope you will hang in there with me if I am not able to make cards for a bit.

Stampin Up and Mojo Monday 360
Today is Tall and skinny day at Mojo Monday, but my card needed to be a bit wider then the skinny size, so I have cut my card 4 1/4" wide and 5 1/2" long.
I've been dying to use this new Sweetbrier Rose stamp. I colored it in with my Blendies and the tiny pearls in the centers of the flowers just added the perfect last touch.
My colors today are, Whisper White, Old Olive and Wisteria Wonder.
I used the Park Lane DSP, and it gave the card just a bit of texture, this is such a pretty pattern.
I hope you enjoyed todays card.
