Wow, posts two days in a row! Go me! LOL. This one is for the Pals challenge, I try to do it every week and I have news.
I HAVE BEEN SELECTED TO BE A TEAM MEMBER! I'm so excited!!! My first card as team member goes up Sept 3rd, so be sure to come on over and cheer me on.
I'm having fun with black today I guess. And it goes so well with Pink, so we have Pink Pirouette, Basic black and Smoky Slate.
Here is the sketch for this week:
It's pretty simple, I just love the new Designer series paper stacks this year. Such cute designs, I love them all, but the text and this one with the tiny flowers are my favorite.

Stampin Up and Freshly Made Sketches 200!
Freshly Made Sketches is having a party! Lots of prizes, you may win one if you play along. This is mine. I just love how it came out. Usually when I do Black and white I add a pop of color, but I left it pure this time. The new thinlit words sure are fun to play with, so clean and so easy to pop white on black.
Here is the sketch, love it too, it's wide open.
If you are seeing a bit of an angle between the print and black, you are correct. It's just for a little more interest.
So, below are my products that I used. I hope you get some ideas of your own from this.

Stampin Up Pals paper arts color Challenge #263
Yup, another card using this awesome stamp. You'd think there wasn't any other stamp in the set, but there are. The leaves you see stamped under the large one are in the set and there are some sentiments and a couple more sizes and shapes of leaves.
The corners are done using a new corner punch, it has three sides, this is one. I stamped on vellum using the new Archival Basic black SU ink from the new Holiday catalog. Ordering from that starts on Sept 1.
On the back side I sponged my colors, because I put it over a busy background I also cut the leaf out of Whisper White and put them together. I used glue dots, often they can be used so they don't show on the vellum.
Here are this weeks colors:
Love, love, love this color combo. Come on over and play.

Stampin Up PP color challenge #257, Sneak Peek for 2015 Holiday Catalog
Ok so I might, just might have gotten a wee bit too grungy with this, think? It just looked to "clean" before However, you can see the beauty of theses leaves. New for fall in the Holiday catty. I had to have this set right off the bat! Strangely enough, I am not a fall or leaf kinda person, but these had that gorgeous stained glass look and spoke to me. I'm sure you will be seeing them a lot.
I used the new SU Archival Black ink. TIP: Be sure you have Staz On cleaner before you use this or the new Archival Basic Gray ink, then rub a good amount on the stamp to clean, do not use water until you are fairly sure it's completely clean, then rinse. It may still stain a little. But honestly it doesn't look bad and of course will not come off on other projects you use the stamp on.
After stamping and using the die for this leaf, I just sponged on the colors for the challenge.
I also sponged the Boho embossed piece just a little bit. Here is the colors for the challenge.
And go here to play.
Although I am showing the items I used, the new ones in the catalog will not be avail. until Sept 1.

Stampin Up, Mojo Monday 409 Just a Note card
Would it surprise you to know I only actually cut those 2 pices in the middle, the Soft Suede and the piece under it of Pool Party, and that was only to get the look for the sketch.
I used Watercolor Wishes Kit. I am not a kit person, gotta tell you that, however the stamp set is awesome so I ordered the kit. I was very surprised at how great it was. I did add in the doily too, but everything else and lots more came in the kit, even the little banner piece under the butterfly, and the butterfly. There is a whole set of wooden elements that comes with.
Take a min to check it out in my store, just click on the picture below.
So, here is the sketch for this week. Come play along.

Stampin Up, Retro card. Paper Players challenge #256
The only instruction for this weeks challenge at Paper Players is to make a square card. So, I did.
However, I had been looking though some stuff and found some of my old SU stamps!!!
I decided to make a retro card. The ribbon and rimmed pearls and CS are all current. The stamps however are not.
The Floral background is from 2005 and the rose stamp is from 1998. Honestly, I'd love for them to come back, aren't they pretty?
I made a 5" card, that means cutting your cardstock 5" x 10" and scoring at 5".
Colors are Whisper white, Rose Red, Mossy Meadow, Black, and So Saffron. I used my blender pen and put a couple drops of reinker in a tray, then a few drops of water. I stamped this rose with my new Archival Black pad, there will be a Basic Gray one too, both in the new Holiday catalog.
I hope you enjoy, and maybe it will bring back some memories.

Stampin Up, Paper Players 255, Sneak peek SU 2015 Holiday Catalog
I have a fun sneak peek for you today. This Designer series paper and this stamp set are from the new 2015 Holiday catalog. I was lucky enough to win this set and Paper while at Convention.
It will not be available to for purchase until Sept 1st, just so you know. I'll have the listings for you to be able to find it all just so that it will make things easier come Sept. You will be seeing a lot more soon, our pre order period starts Aug 4th.
The Paper Players challenge this week is a sketch challenge.
Lots and lots of ways to use this one! And I really wanted to show off this snowflake set. The snowflake I have used here is compatable with the Flower Medallion punch, and in the Holiday catalog you'll fine a punch for the 2 small snowflakes. There is also a larger snowflake. And some sentiments!
