Is everyone enjoying summer? Around here, in N AZ the temps are over 100 already and won't come down much if any for about 4 months. It's the time to either leave and go sit on the coast, or stay inside with the A/C.
I can't afford to go sit on the coast, so staying inside and playing with paper is my choice.
Today is a color challenge from Paper Players.
I had a lot of fun with this new set of Photopolymer stamps. You can bend the stem anyway you want to get the desired effect, so you could have a whole surface of flowers all in different directions.
Have you ever had a stamp and wished it went in both directions? This is it.
It's a 2 step stamp set, but you don't have to do it that way, lots of choices here. I think this just might be my favorite of the new sets.
Thanks for stopping, hope I have given you some ideas.

Stampin Up, Pals Paper Arts #255
Welcome. Today's PPA challenge is a color challenge:
I do love blues and browns together, it's a great color combo for a guy card, but I just had to use flowers, right? That piece you see in the center is from the new 12x12 DSP Neutrals Stack. They have been all redone for this year and the patterns are fab.
Also, instead of White and Very Vanilla in this stack they have put Gold and Silver, it just doesn't get any better then that!
Very simple card, I hope you enjoy and it gives you some ideas of your own. But hey, feel free to CASE, in SU talk that is Copy and Share Everything.

Stampin Up and Paper Players 248, Happy Birthday
Gee, what do I say about this? I needed to make a masculine card and I don't have any stamps I could think of that I'd use for that. I really need to get a couple sets.
We, that is Stampin Up, have this new brick embossing folder, I have lots of other ideas for it, but for this card I thought I'd make it look like graffiti. The stamp in a new one in the Watercolor Words set.
The banner paper was just to make it look a bit happier and honestly it just didn't seem to need another thing.
I am getting a lot of questions about how I made the brick wall. It's pretty simple actually.
Ink up your brayer and run it over the side of the folder that has the bricks raised up, put your paper
in and emboss as usual. After that I just stamped the words on. I love this new Watercolor Words sentiment set! Thanks for the feedback, it really helps.
It's a very new idea for me, is it bad? Good? You like? Let me know please.

Stampin Up Pals Paper Arts Challenge 254
She lives in AR and works over the border in TX, things there are very bad, on both sides of the
line. Flooding is sever and lives have been lost, some were people from her church and were close
to her. She also has a lot of other things to deal with in her job.
I hope this makes her know I love her and wish I could help.
Here are the colors this week:
Because Strawberry Slush has been retired and I no longer even have it, I have chosen to use our

Stampin Up and Paper Players 247, Good Things
I love when I'm given choices and this weeks Paper Players has a Tic Tac Toe challenge, choose any three in line. Here it is:
How cool is that, love it. I did the bottom across. Die cut, Patterned paper and yellow, how'd I do?
I had not used the large butterfly in this die cut set yet, wow, it's awesome, just makes the whole card.
Click on any of the images below to be taken to my store. You can check out the items or any times once there and if you choose to you can place an order. Thanks, Happy Stamping.
Stampin Up, Mojo Monday 400, Something worth celebrating.
This is a very special week for Mojo monday, it's 400th sketch this week. For this one they went back to the beginning. This was also the very first sketch that started it all. Here it is! It can be as simple or as complex as you want to make it. Love this type of sketch, so much fun.
I used the new Neutrals 121x12 paper stack. I think you'll be seeing a lot of posts with these papers, they are just wonderful. I wanted a very soft look, so I used vellum over the top, and stamped my flower in the corner of the vellum. TIP: If you haven't used vellum before, it is a non porous paper, so it can take quite a while to dry. If you are careful you can use your heat gun to hurry it up, or you can choose to emboss it.
Tomorrow, tue, june 2nd 2015, is the first day to order from the new main catalog, so it will all be available to you.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stamping!
