A special Easter gift

I have something special I've been working on. I hope you will enjoy it, it's a set of cut files for cutting machines all in .svg format.  There was a gorgeous christmas banner making the rounds at Pinterest, everyone seemed so in love with it. It's past Christmas, but it inspired me to make an Easter Banner.

I did make one mistake, the letters should have been darker, a lot darker, but it shows ok in person. You will find more close up photos in the file.  There are a several different shapes you can mix and match.
You can find the files HERE

Finally, a new wallpaper

I know it's late and I haven't done one in a couple months, but I had requests so here is June's wallpaper.

Be sure to check out Amanda's whole Citrus Crush kit. There are some extra pieces for free in her store for use in the calendar challenge.

We are still getting settled into our new home. Hubby keeps asking me if I'm done, LOL. I keep buying things. The latest and probably the last for quite a while is a set of cabinets. 2 base cabinets, one drawers, one a base with shelves and a tall pantry type cabinet. They go into my sewing room so I will have somewhere to put all my stuff. I know I've got more stuff they they will hold, but it'll help a lot. Also the base cabinets become my cutting table. Sink base cabinets work very well because not only do they have storage inside, but they are just the right height.

I'm working hard at my CT work at Scrapbook Elements as well. Check out the Challenge that Sheryl and I have up. Words From the Heart, we have made some really cute goodies as gifts for participating.

And check out the cute page I made for the BB
challenge at SBE. The template is done by Kim
Hollibone and the kit is just darling. It's Mandy King's I Am Forever Changed.

Click on the layout to be taken to the gallery at SBE and see it larger.

I guess I shall never get very good at posting here, but I think I'll try to post the monthly wallpapers again and some of the layouts I do with kits from the awesome designers at SBE and by Amanda at Digitals.

Feb 2010 wallpaper

And other stuff. Still getting ready to move, truck is mostly loaded so by my next months post, I should be in my new home.

For now, I have a feb wallpaper for you, it's a tiny bit late as I've been so busy with all the new house stuff and the packing ect, that time just got away from me. This month we are featuring Amanda's Remembering You kit. And it's quite the awesome kit.

I hope you like what I have created for you from it. As has been my habit lately I've done it in three sizes, so there should be one that will work for you.

Sept wallpaper

Just a quick post with your link to the sept wallpaper. It's made using Amanda's Fall Into School kit. Click on pic to see kit in the store.

Here is the preview of the wallpaper. I didn't put a month on it this time or a calendar. You can get the calendar by going to Amanda's Calendar challenge at Digitalscrapbookpages on the 1st.

I'm thinking maybe next month I'll put the month title separate so you can have one if you like.

Have fun, hope you injoy the wallpaper.

Challenges at Digitals

Amanda has two challenges at Digitals with beautiful mini kits for each, and the large kit of the same name is on sale. My favorite is the Calendar challenge, I do 4x6, (you can make any size you like), and I make them for 2010, at the end of the year all I have to do is print and give them to my girls for Christmas, they reuse a pretty glass frame with metal corners I purchased at Walmart. They can't wait each year to see what photos I use on them, and it's gotten them to send me more photos during the year, that's a good thing for a Scrappin Granny.
Anyway, Song of Hope is the kit for this month for the Calendar challenge and the mini is darling.
The Scrap Therapy challenge is using Finalmente, both kits are on sale in the store.

Hurry tho, you'll want to get the whole kit, buy it before Amanda realizes how low she has priced it. LOL
Now that we have gotten the important stuff out of the way, I have to say, it's been another heck of a day.
Several weeks ago my hubby suffered a heart attach and then had a quad by pass operation.
He was doing pretty well early on, then he caught some virus and has not been able to shake it. We seem to spend a lot of time in Dr's offices and today, we headed for the Hosp for a CT scan and he ended up admitted to the ER and we spent 3 hrs there. This kind of thing is happening a lot, I know he will eventually be all right, but it's sure a long haul.
Ok, everyone, check back in a day or two and I'll have a pretty for you for free.

New changes and a freebie

Well guys It's time I redid my blog and started using it. I've got friends hounding me and they are right, if I'm gonna take up space I should be updating it.

I'm no longer designing, and I've settled into CT work for one designer, Amanda Thorderson at Digitalscrapbookpages, or Digitals. I love her designs, she seems to design the way I like to scrap, so I've been working at doing better at layouts and having a lot of fun.

For today I have an august wallpaper that Amanda has agreed to allow me to share with you, using her Summer Cottage kit. I love this kit, the colors are awesome and there is just so many papers and elements you can find whatever you need.

This wallpaper does not have a calendar on it, that's because I made it for myself and I use a little free program called Reinlender that sits on my desktop and tells me what day of what month and year it is. I can also set up a to do list and put my appts, chats, and all in it, and can even set an alarm if I so choose. I don't miss so many chats now. .

If you would like a calendar, starting on the 1st, tomorrow, Amanda will have her Calendar challenge up in the Digitals forum and you'll be able to download a calendar and mini kit to do the challenge with, and also her main kit will be on sale, always at a great price.

So, here is todays freebie, a Wallpaper in two sizes made from Summer Cottage.
