Stampin Up, PPA 319, They say it's your birthday

Color challenge week at the PPA this week.  Here are our colors:

I did use seveal products to get this one like I wanted it, but some are easy substitutions.
The main set is Grateful Bunch stamps and punch.  I stamped the leaves around the white piece, then just used my Aqua painter, picking up a bit of ink from the ink pad and lightly added in color without coloring in all the space and smearing the stamped image.

A bit of grunge was added, stamped in the butterfly and added the stamped and punched flowers. The DSP is from Blooms and Bliss and the ribbon from a new 3 pack in the holiday catalog.

The choice of colors this week comes from Peggy Noe, she does such lovely things on her blog, go check her out, she is our featured stamper this week.

Stampin Up, Pals Paper Arts challenge #303 Grateful Bunch

Welcome!  It's color challenge week at the PPA.  Here are this weeks colors:

Go HERE  to join in or check out the other posts.

I used Night of Navy for my base card and splattered the  Sahara Sand layer using a brush and a mix of refil ink and water, it's a bit messy, so watch out.  Putting the card in a small box can really help.

I used my Banner Framelit dies to cut the banners out and added my Grateful Bunch flowers. I stamped them then used my Blender pen to color in a bit, or if you have markers that works fine.

Added the little butterfly and stamped the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
I love the addition of the stamped lace, I did add that in before gluing down my banners.

Just do a comment if you have any questions, I'll have to answer it in my comments sections unless you leave me a way to reach you, so check there for the answer please.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you'll come and play with us.

Shabby Chic Stampin Up Birthday card

I was just making cards and needed a special one for my daughters 50th birthday. And yes I'm that old. LOL.  She loves pink, and I think this has just the right amount of pink.
I used Whisper White for my card base, then Baked Brown Sugar.

I used my Smoky Slate stamp pad for the text, it's the new Dictionary background stamp. I had to have this one soon as I saw it.
I stamped off onto scratch paper once first to get it this light, then onto my white piece.
The doily went on next, then a Blushing Bride flower cut from the Blossom Punch and over stamped with Delicate Doilies, but lots of stamps would work as well. The top flower is cut using the Pansy punch.

I used a new Candy dot in the center.  I then stamped the birthday sentiment from the Sketched Birthday set and cut out using the Bitty Banners framelits.

Thanks for stopping by, hope this gives you some ideas for your own cards.
