Stampin Up, Pals Paper Arts color challenge #299, Hello

Todays card features some more retired items. They are still current until the end of May 2016, so if any of it's something you can't live without, you might want to buy it now.  When it's gone, it's gone and it's going fast.

I used the Striped Scallop die, to get this effect I cut out a printer paper template first.  Then I used a bit of Washi tape to hold it down to the card piece. You can use post its also.  I then sponged on the two colors, Pink Pirouette and Pear Pizzazz.

I used Beautiful Bunch stamps to make the top flower in my stack, and just cut one out of gold foil and one from the Pear to complete the stack. The little one on top middle is stamped from the same set, and cut using the Petite Petal punch.
I finished it off with a large pearl from the Pearl Basics.

My sentiment is cut from gold foil also, using the Hello You Thinlits.  A tip for this, if you do not have the Precision plate, use a piece of wax paper between the die and the CS.   Otherwise the light weight paper tears coming out of the die.

Those of us that are demos will be able to place a small preorder in a couple days and there is a lot of excitement in our groups.  One more month and we will all be able to order. There are some fabulous new items in the new annual catalog, that's exciting, but unfortunately in order to get new stuff we have to let go of some old stuff, and that can be hard.  The Beautiful Bunch stamps set and matching Fun Flower punch are leaving us. :(
Also the Scallop thinlit die is going. I am very much going to miss all 3 items!  But I can't wait to get my hands on some of the new goodies.
Here are the colors for this week, beautiful colors by our own Peggy Noe.

Brilliant . . . I love how you used the scallop die to create a soft and pretty background!

Love how you've sponged the background, but even more, how you've made your own stencil. So pretty.

The custom made scallop background is definitely a hit, Lynn, judging from everyone's comments. What a great way to create your own!! The flower is stunning. Off to pin....

Lynn, this is such a pretty card! I absolutely love it! The scallops and sponging are so clever and give the card such a sweetness. I'm really going to miss that die too!
