Stampin Up and Paper Players 248, Happy Birthday

Gee, what do I say about this? I needed to make a masculine card and I don't have any stamps I could think of that I'd use for that. I really need to get a couple sets.

We, that is Stampin Up, have this new brick embossing folder, I have lots of other ideas for it, but for this card I thought I'd make it look like graffiti.  The stamp in a new one in the Watercolor Words set.

The banner paper was just to make it look a bit happier and honestly it just didn't seem to need another thing.
I am getting a lot of questions about how I made the brick wall. It's pretty simple actually.
Ink up your brayer and run it over the side of the folder that has the bricks raised up, put your paper
in and emboss as usual.  After that I just stamped the words on. I love this new Watercolor Words sentiment set!  Thanks for the feedback, it really helps.

It's a very new idea for me, is it bad? Good? You like?  Let me know please.

I like that brickwork! Did you ink up your folder to apply the color? Or sponge onto the embossed paper? I need the rest of the story!! Thanks, Lynn. I always enjoy your cards and posts.

Like the idea of graffiti on the brick wall very much. Very clever. Not so sure about the banner paper, to be honest. Like horizonview, I need more info on how you did the brick coloring. Did you use a white gel pen to simulate grout? I enjoy your postings.

I love this, Lynn! Great idea to make your brick wall and even better to stamp some graffitti over it. So clever. Thanks so much for sharing your masculine creation with us this week at The Paper Players!

I think it's a great idea, Lynn! I have no vision for this embossing folder so this is wonderful! And I love your idea to 'grafetti' the sentiment onto the wall! So fun! Thanks for playing along with the challenge this week at The Paper Players!

there is never enough stamps in one's vast collection of stamps!! Ha! We are all there sister.. Nevertheless I like the juxtaposition of brick and birthday paper. The colors are wonderful and the design is so original! Now go out and buy some masculine stamps before I buy them all!! hehehehe.
