Stampin Up, Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge #248, Watercolor play

So here we are at yet another PPA challenge.   This week we have a sketch challenge and it's a great one. I love then they are very simple, allowing for your mind to wonder and create.  If you visit here
often, you will know that I'm working hard to get some watercolor techniques down.

So this is my try for this week.  I inked up my stamp with Melon Mambo and then spritzed water on it and stamped it on watercolor paper.   I did a couple more spritzes on the paper to allow the color to spread.  I'd really like to hear what you think if you wouldn't mind leaving me a comment.

I used soft sky and an aqua painter to spread some sky around.   I sure hope you enjoy.

Great technique, Lynn! Love the bright color and the "sky" you added. Thanks for joining us at the PPA this week!

Lynn, I really love the effect! It's a stunning card! I may have to try this.

I like this card, Lynn. It's not quite a love but the more I look at it, the more I like it. I still haven't taken my watercolor paper and brush/pens out of their packaging to play with them, but this inspires me to do so.
