Stampin Up, Ornamental Pine Christmas

You know that normally I post a Mojo Monday card on Mondays, but I have had this card in my head for a few days and it just wanted to be made.  It really turned out to be very quick and simple.  I was going to use white embossing, but my silver was just sitting there beside the white, and I thought, hmmm why not?

I used Night of Navy for the card with a Whisper White base card and Silver glimmer paper for the next layer.  What a quick and sweet Christmas card this makes. I started my card base at 5"x5", so cut your paper 5" x 10" and fold in half.   Now I need to go make an envelop with the envelop maker and find someone special to send it to in Dec.

Before I close today, I know some of you have seen me post that I am having some health problems. I've had problems standing and eventually even sitting at my desk can cause pain.  I have a bad hip, it's bone on bone, and it took me a long 5 months to find out what was wrong.   I was scheduled for surgery on the 14th, but that has been changed, seems the dr needs to go out of town. So, will be having it closer to the end of the month.

If any of you are in the same boat and would like to know more about how I end up doing, or more about the surgery I will be having, just let me know in the comments. If you leave me contact info I can write directly to you, other wise I can only answer in the comments as well.    I am having a very high tech surgery using a special table and laser that is suppose to cute little to no muscle and limit bleeding, I consider myself pretty lucky to have a Dr of that caliber here in our little burg.

Anne, thank you so much for your good wishes. I send them right back to you. My hubby damaged his knee many years ago, and he had the shot as well. So far he has managed without surgery, but he did have the scoping, they were able to clean out damaged pieces that were making things worse.
That is a lot of cancellations, hope it happens soon and you find out what the problem is.
