Stampin Up, Retro card. Paper Players challenge #256

The only instruction for this weeks challenge at Paper Players is to make a square card. So, I did.
However, I had been looking though some stuff and found some of my old SU stamps!!!
I decided to make a retro card. The ribbon and rimmed pearls and CS are all current. The stamps however are not.

The Floral background is from 2005 and the rose stamp is from 1998.  Honestly, I'd love for them to come back, aren't they pretty?

I made a 5" card, that means cutting your cardstock 5" x 10" and scoring at 5".

Colors are Whisper white, Rose Red, Mossy Meadow, Black, and So Saffron. I used my blender pen and put a couple drops of reinker in a tray, then a few drops of water. I stamped this rose with my new Archival Black pad, there will be a Basic Gray one too, both in the new Holiday catalog.

I hope you enjoy, and maybe it will bring back some memories.

Lynn you've coloured the rose beautifully and it really stands out against the black and white paper. It's always nice to dig out an 'oldie but goodie' stamp every once in a while! Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!
