Pals Paper Arts Challenge 198

It's a PPA color challenge today.  I had no idea where I was going with this card. I started out with an entirely different stamp set, but ended up with Language Of Love.  Because I just added as I went without an idea of any kind when I started, I ended up using two retired products. I'm sorry about that.
Both the ribbon, and the embossing folder are retired. The ribbon some time ago, but I forgot that SAB is now over and the embossing folder was one of the choices to get free. I'm hoping we see it again tho, I just love it!

Colors for today are:

Ready to join in? It really is fun to challenge yourself.

Summer Starfruit is not my favorite color by a long shot, but I think it worked well here. I have it peeking out between the white layers, and I used it on the center banner.   To make things easier, I put the banners on Stampin Dimentionals and then added the ribbon behind. Be sure to put your dot more to the middle so you can get the ribbon or twine in there.  I have found that the Anywhere Glue Sticks work really well for ribbon, it is easy to put on, and you have time for a bit of adjustment, but after that it holds very well.  I use it in my classes and it also is fantastic for layering where placement is difficult.

Hope you got some good ideas of your own from this, thanks for stopping by.  And as always, just click on the photos below to be taken to the product in my store.
