Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge 159

Challenges give us a way to stretch ourselves, it can help you to do cards in ways you might not have before.  Maybe different colors then you are drawn to normally, or in this case a sketch to follow. I didn't stay completely true to the sketch, but I did follow it to a point.

I have to say, I haven't been feeling well today, and did one card already for the challenge. I needed a card for a grandson's birthday and it worked out well for that, but really not for the sketch, so I started over.

Have I said it before? I am in love with the new Smoky Slate color! The new catalog isn't even available to order from yet and I can't stop using it. It's great to be a demo!!!  If you would like to get the same benefits, feel free to sign up on my Stampin Up blog site. You will be joining a wonderful and very large online group of  Demo's, we chat all the time and always have someone to run something by.

So, for this one I used Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, Marina Mist.
For supplies I used Smoky Slate for the base card, Neutrals DSP, then the Marina Mist in the Subtles DSP.
The stamp is is a hostess set, One in a Million and I cut it out with the Petite Curly Label punch.

For a final touch I used rhinestones.
Thanks for Stopping by.

Hope you are feeling better! A sketch is just a place to begin--after that, you are in charge! Thanks for playing at PPA!
