Masculine Birthday Card

I needed a card for my 14yr old grandson's birthday. He has reached an age where I can no longer get by with a cutest card. So sad, my 3 youngest grandson's are all 14 now, no more babies.

So, I did a card using a combo of old and new product.

It took me awhile but at some point I fell in love with this wood grain embossing folder, it's so useful!
I sponged on some of the Crumb Cake ink just to dirty it up some. The Patterned paper is part of the Gingham Garden paper pack, the whole pack is just gorgeous, this piece is done in Pear Pizzazz one of the new colors.

Colors:
Whisper White
Crumb Cake,
Pear Pizzazz
Soft Suede

Supplies:
Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper ( available in the new 2013-2014 catalog May 31) (129310)
Best Of Birthdays (25th SU anniversary set) (132929)
Remembering Your Birthday ( also available May31st) (131350)
Modern label punch (119849)
Wood grain embossing folder (127821)
