Tropical Blooms card, Just Add Ink #412

Stampin up has some really, really different and wonderful stamp sets and die sets and even punches in the new annual catalog.   I think this is one of them.  This one can be die cut from right where you want the die to show or you can do what I did, cut it out then trim an edge around it.  And the leaves are just too much fun, I'll be playing with them next.

Here is the challenge I'm playing along with for this card.  Check the rest of the cards here.

My colors for this are: Blushing Bride, Whisper White, Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist and Black.
I had to sub Lemon Lime Twist for the Apple green in the spalatters as I don't as yet have the ink pad.  The 6x6 Tropical Escape DSP is really gorgeous.
I was a little worried putting this together, that it might end up too busy, but I don't think that happened. And I usually will use a small print for anything like this,  but I just loved how this worked up, the leaves sticking out the sides.

Granny Apple Green was not a color I was looking forward to, just like Lemon Lime Twist was, but once again, I surprised myself by loving it when used right.  Look at it with the Blushing Bride, it's gorgeous together.
I hope you love it too. Thanks for stopping by.

EDIT:  In looking at my card I kept thinking there could and should be more. Normally when I'm done, I'm done. But here is the after after changes.   What do you think?  Better or not?

Healing Thoughts, #fms340

Isn't that rose gorgeous?  This set, Healing Hugs is one of a new type of stamp set that SU has started making.  They are photos, turned into stamps, at least one main image is.  This is Healing Hugs, and this only takes one stamping, it was done with the new reformatted ink pad, Lovely Lipstick.  I think there are 3 or 4 stamp sets in what they are calling Dist INK tive stamps.

We saw the first on in the SAB this past Jan, and it was a huge hit.  There is a very neat Pointsettia set as well which I'll be getting.   I hope you like this as well.

Here it is with the colors, the new red is on top in the brand new style pad.  I'm loving those, they actually stack nicely, so are easier to have on the desk while working.
Lovely Lipstick, Pear Pizzazz and Lemon Lime Twist.

Playing along with Freshly made sketches this week.  Go here to see all the cards in the challenge.

This set also has 4 different get well messages, something we have been missing. And they are good ones.   I hope you enjoy. Happy Stampin.

Watercolor Just a Note, Just Add Ink #411

This was truly fun to make. I've got a bit of new items, plus some carryover items, lots of watercolor paper and fun color.  The purple colors are two  of our new purples, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape, they look so beautiful together. I used the Gorgeous Grape around the water color card front, with Bermuda Bay under it. The yellow leaves sticking up are Pineapple Punch, a new incolor.

The Sentiment is from Plourishing Phrases, and the die that cuts it out is from Petals and More dies.

I was in the mood for lots of pretty color and pastels are my favorites, I use them a lot.
I also used some Lemon Lime Twist in my watering on the card front.

Todays card was created for the Just Add Ink #411 Challenge. Go over here to see the team and other players cards, and by all means, join it, it's a great way to up your skills.

The new catalog is now live! Woo Hoo.  I know you've seen lots of previews of coming attractions from that catalog, but now you'll see even more.
