Stampin Up, Peaceful Pines Christmas card

Taking a photo of a number 10 card is quite the challenge. The envelop here really does fit even tho it looks smaller here.

I start with the envelop, measure and decide how much room my card needs.  For this one my card is 9" long by 7 1/2" wide.  You'll score at 3 3/4" down the middle.  I am not wonderful at math so you may what to check that.

I do love how this card turned out, it started out to  be a sketch challenge entry, but when I got done it just was not looking like the sketch.   Hello Honey is the perfect color here, it sure looks like gold.

So, what do you think of my little unconventional card?  Love to know.

Merry Little Christmas, Mojo Monday 414

You don't usually see me using this much Designer Series Paper, normally if I use it, it's just a bit here and there.  But it just lent itself to this sketch so much.   I have had this framelit set setting in front of me on my desk since I got it.

I love how there are 2 sets of each shape, 3 per set, that's a lot of tags and labels.  I picked out tags from both size sets to get my look.  The middle one is gold foil, it just does not show well in a photo, but it shines so pretty.

Here is the sketch, it's a simple one, come try it.  Doing challenges can really sharpen your skills.
