FMS sketch challege #289, With Sympathy

I'm the person who sends out cards to those needing them for a group I'm in.  Since many of our members are up there in age, most of those are sympathy cards, so I try to have a couple on hand.

It's not my favorite kind of card to make, but I do take some pride in sending my hand made cards each and every time.

I think this stamp set is a forever one.  I sure do not intend to get rid of it ever.  It's Sheltering Tree, it's been in the catalog for quite a while now and yes, it's in the new one as well. The little blobs can be leaves or flowers or just about whatever you would like them to be. I've seen them used in very unexpected ways, and I bet you have too.  This was just another way to give the card some charactor.  I simple stamped the tree twice,  cut out one of them using the stitched framelit and layered it in top of first a slightly larger piece of Berry Burst then onto the card front over the tree on there.

The sky is our watercolor pencils, I used the side of the tip and then went over gently with my Blender pen, since I didn't use watercolor paper I had to be careful and not make it too wet.

So here is todays challenge: You can find it here.

Todays colors are Berry Burst (new incolor), Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz and a Bermuda Bay pencil. Thanks for stopping by!
