Stampin Up, Global Design Project 006

It's not enough to make a great card, you also have to take a great photo, not always the easiest thing to do. This one was one of those hard ones. Gold embossing on black, but it's stunning in person.  It's hard to see, but there is a gold foil layer between the Very Vanilla and black.  I love this stamp set. To get just the dove without the sentiment I covered it with a post it, then put on my Versa Mark ink and took the post it away to stamp.

The sentiment is beautiful, but I simply didn't have room for it with this design and I do love how it turned out. So it can be used inside instead.

The design on this stamp is a really nice one if you like to color in, but as you see, it can be done other ways. You could use gold, silver or white embossing and water color inside or sponge inside ect.

This week at GDP was a sketch challenge, so many beautiful examples by the team, check them out.

Sure hope I have inspired you, thanks for stopping by.

There's something regal about black and gold. A stunning backdrop to this beautiful dove. Thanks for joining us once again at Global Design Project, Lynn.

Such an elegant card Lynn. Black and Gold are a classic combination. I love the addition of the striped vellum too. Thanks for playing at Global Design Project this week ♥

I agree Lynn, taking photos can be hard! You have done a beautiful job of both your stylish and elegant card and capturing it with your photography.
Thank you so much for playing along to the Global Design Project, your card is gorgeous. xo
