Yup, today is the very last day to order and receive free goodies from the SAB catalog. Some very cute items in there and I am going to miss them.
One is the papers you see here, both the stripe and the leaves. The come all white in different patterns, with resist. You simply use a marker or sponge to put color on, then wipe what remains of the color on the resist part. I love these. I am really hoping we see some more of this kind of paper in the new catty which comes out in June.
My colors today are Elegant Eggplant, So Saffron, Garden green and I did add that Hello Honey ribbon, I love how it is perfect with the So Saffron.
I also used the Spring Flowers embossing folder, not sure why I forgot about it, I just love this one.

Easter Pals Paper Arts 245
Another PPA challenge, this one a sketch challenge. I used mine for an easter card for a good friend.
My colors this time are: Daffodil Delight, Pink Pirouette, and Pear Pizzazz.
I used my blender pen, just put the tip on the ink pad I wanted color from and colored in the flower. The sentiment is from Crazy About You. It's a great set with lots of different words and phrases that you can mix up to stamp whatever you want. The Happy and the Easter were two different stamps.
The rest was done with Butterfly Basics. You can still get the set and the bundle with the die cuts until June 2. But as of the 31st of this month, you can no longer get any of the SAB items. So it's a good time to buy it while you also get some free stuff.
Here is this weeks sketch:
Wide open, you can do just about anything with this one.
Click on any of the graphic below and it will take you to my store, where you can purchase, just check out the items and browse, download current catalogs.
There are no prices on the Butterfly basics bundle or die cut set, that means they have been turned off for now. Because of the strike at the ports in CA, things got so far behind that it is taking a long time to get product out now that it's over. If you want the bundle, just watch for it to come back.

Mojo Monday 390
Hello and a very happy monday to you. Todays colors are Island Indigo, Whisper White, Sahara Sand.
I almost didn't do the ribbon, but it just needed something. I hope I have inspired you a bit.
We are down to the wire on the SAB sale, so if you have seen anything in that brochure you want you only have a short time to get it. The SAB sale ends on March 31st. Those items will not show up in the clearance rack or in the next big main catalog.
And here is the sketch. A very simple one.
As usual, click on any of the photos below and you will be taken to that item in the store. Don't worry, you don't have to purchase, but you can check out the items further.

Patriotic rag quilt
Normally you expect to see my latest SU item, I mean after all I am an SU demo. However
I do a lot of other crafts too, and have gotten back into quilting.
This was suppose to be my hubbies Christmas present but I was in too bad a shape to even start it then.
So, as of today it is finished.
I have no patience at all so I had never made a whole quilt before. Lots of wall hangings, pillows, tree skirts, tote bags ect. This one is a lap quilt and actually ended up pretty large. He loves it, he is big on Patriotic.
I used a Layer cake from MSQC, with 2 layers of flannel. One inside for batting and one for backing.
These make up so fast, it's really neat.
You'll find lots of good tuts if you google, so I won't go into that. But if you sew or quilt you may want to check out MSQC.

Happy Day, Pals Paper Arts challenge #244
Hello, and a very happy day to all of you. What a fun sketch! I think I'll hang on to it and use it again, maybe soon, I had so many ideas.
The flower from Beautiful Bunch was so perfect for this, it has a matching punch, I just love it. I have a customer who is fell in love with it at a class and came by yesterday to play with paper with me and stamped and punch a bunch to hold her over until her order came in.
Colors today are Tempting Turquoise, Real red and Basic Gray.
Thanks so much for stopping by and here is the sketch, how about joining in?
Now remember, a sketch is just a starting point, feel free to make it your own. I sure do. I need to make cards that I end up loving, so to that end often a few changes are made.Well, looks like the buton I choose is retired, but I have listed a replacement set. Page 208 on the big main catalog has all the buttons and other embellishments.

Mojo monday 389, a fun new techneque
Aren't these colors fabulous?! Not my normal colors at all but wow! This idea is a technique from Patty Bennett . I just used the Mojo Monday sketch for it. I am in love, and so happy I decided to
get this DSP!
In case you don't know, it is a free specialty DSP in this years SAB brochure. You pick out a free
item for each $50 you spend from any other current catalog. Hurry if you want it, you only have
until the end of March, just a couple more weeks to order it.
I would never have thought to use these colors, they just are not MY colors, shows you should always keep an open mind.
Colors are: Strawberry Slush, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral.
The ribbon I used is one I had around, the only one in this color, but I have a suggested one below.

First Easter card
This was one of our class cards this month. My customers had a great time with it and I issued challenge for them to bring back a card made with what was left after I cut the Top note die out.
This is in the new Occasions catty so if you want it, order before the end of March 2015! It's adorable .
Very simple, I just colored in a few places to give some interest. Mostly I used my blender pen. Simply touch the tip to any color pad and color. I love those and can add to the usefulness of your ink pads.

Just Because, A PPA Color Challenge 243
Soft colors this week. I love soft colors, the bright and deep ones are pretty too, but I am a pastel color lover.
This set of Butterflies is an older one, still in the catalog but I had all but forgotten them when I was flipping through the catalog and it landed on the page this set was on.
Sure wish rhinestones showed better, they are so bright and shinny in person, so you will just have to take my word for how great they are..
Here are todays colors: Click HERE to be taken to the challenge.
