Freshly Made Sketches #298, Just for You

Another great sketch this week over at Freshly Made Sketches. This time it's from a friend of mine, she does awesome cards and every week is an inspiration, Linda Callahan.

So, stop on over by CLICKING HERE.  And check out Linda's card and the rest of the team.

I did my rose on vellum.  I love working on vellum, it kind of disappears showing you just the design. I stamped using my Berry Burst, allowed it to dry, (this can take awhile), then flipped it over and used my Blender pen on the back side to finish coloring in.  And that is it.   Easy one today.

My colors are, Whisper White, Powder Pink, Lemon Lime Twist, Smoky Slate, and Basic black.  If I had stamped my rose in archival black, it would have dried much quicker, but you can always hit it with a bit of heat from the heat gun to help it along too.

Here is the sketch:

I love how you curved the diagonal element,,,,softens the card beautifully! And the flower on vellum is gorgeous! Very pretty card!

Beautiful card! The curve you've added to the diagonal strip really adds a softness to this gorgeous card. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
